Our Parents and Citizens’ Association has been an
integral part of the school community for 20 years. Many dedicated parents,
students and staff have worked together to achieve great things for our school
and most importantly, our students. We actively invite all parents and
interested community members to become involved in our Association which
endeavours to promote the interests and facilitate the development and further
improvement of Wellington Point State High School.

One stop shop
Our P&C runs a most
successful One Stop Shop which provides a great service to the school
community. This shop provides all food and uniform requirements
through the canteen and is open daily. Our cheerful staff and many volunteer
parents are rostered on for one day of each month. P&C are always looking
for more helpers and strongly encourage mums, dads and grandparents to consider
sharing in this valuable service by joining the volunteer body even if only for
a few days per year. Please phone (07) 3820 4225.
Revenue
This is mainly derived from the net operational profit
of our One Stop Shop. The P&C have a voluntary contribution scheme
operating at a nominated rate of $20 per student per year. The revenue raised
is used to provide additional amenities for the benefit of all students.
