The Queensland Government sets out the School Enrolment Management Plan (EMP) for Wellington Point State High School.

Student Enrolment Capacity of School

Wellington Point State High School has a maximum Student Enrolment Capacity of 1,228 students.
The school's Program of Excellence in Honours, Elite Sporting achievers ESAP, Creative Arts (ENCORE), Academic Acceleration (LEAP), is supported through the allocation of a defined number of places. Places in the Program of Excellence will only be available to out-of-catchment enrolments once the demand for in-catchment enrolment has been met and sufficient Student Enrolment Capacity has been reserved for future in-catchment growth. Currently Wellington Point SHS has the capacity to enrol:
  • 100 students in the Creative Arts Encore Program of Excellence
  • 400 students in Elite Sporting Achievers Program (ESAP)
  • 120 students in LEAP (Leadership, Enrichment and Acceleration Program)
