Dear Parents/Caregivers of Year 7 and 9 Students,
NAPLAN testing will be held for all Year 7 and 9 students from Wednesday, 11 March 2026.
Please note that students are not expected to study for NAPLAN. You can support your child by reassuring them that NAPLAN is a part of their school program and reminding them to simply do their best. Some familiarisation and explanation of NAPLAN is useful to help students understand and be comfortable with the format of the tests.
Students are familiar with the types of questions in the tests and teachers will provide appropriate support and guidance. The NAPLAN public demonstration site shows the types of questions that students will answer and parents/carers and students can use the website to access a demonstration test. This can be found by using the following link https://www.nap.edu.au/naplan/public-demonstration-site
The schedule below displays the test sessions times specific to Wellington Point State High School. Please ensure your students are present on the day and call the student absence line on 3820 4266 if they cannot attend.
After these testing dates, there will be no more opportunities to sit the tests.
